TRENZ is New Zealand’s largest international tourism business event and the most important event of the year on the tourism events calendar. TRENZ brings hundreds of international travel Buyers together to meet with New Zealand’s leading tourism operators (Sellers) over three days to build or renew relationships and negotiate business for upcoming seasons.

TRENZ 2024 will be held at Tākina Wellington Convention and Exhibition Centre.

Wellington’s sustainable future and environmental sustainability and resilience are at the heart of the design and construction of Tākina.  

EVENT FORMAT

TRENZ will be held from 8-10 May 2024 and the event programme will include: 

• 15-minute appointments between Buyers and Sellers 
• Media programme
• Multiple networking opportunities including at our Welcome Function and Farewell Function 
• Familiarisation activities for Buyers in and around Wellington 
• Pre and post-TRENZ Buyer famil opportunities 

The format for 2024 has been re-modelled to allow for more time before and after the business meetings for exploration and discovery of the capital city.   

SELLERS

Seller programme includes:

• Welcome Function
• Standard 1.8m x 1.8m streamlined booth (walls, one table and four chairs, light, power, as well as a company name sign and printed back wall sign). 
• 50 pre-scheduled appointments over two days  
• Networking hour at the end of day one
• Farewell Function
• Speaker series and innovation hub
