Welcome to Elements NZ – Kaikōura.
Whether you’re a total beginner, amateur athlete or a seasoned pro going after serious results, Elements will work for you. Choose one stage, two stages, or the whole triathlon, and race with a smile on your face across one of the most beautiful courses in New Zealand.
SWIM
The stunning 1500m swim will feature two 750m laps in the sea with the backdrop of the iconic Kaikoura Peninsula.
This is an epic open water swim in a beautiful South Island bay – it doesn’t get better!
MOUNTAIN BIKE
A varied one-lap bike course on the outskirts of the Kaikoura Flats, following woodland path, river bank and some exciting cycle trails.
The course features some challenging climbs and technical decent. DISTANCE: 50km
TRAIL RUN
The run course will treat you to incredible views of the surrounding mountains as you make your way through the round the Kaikoura Peninsula. 9km
