“Farm to Table, Ocean to Plate” Culinary Experience at Hapuku Lodge.
The area in which Hapuku Lodge is located was designated on the first European maps of the district as “Kai Whare”, the Maori term for “house of food”. Today the restaurant at the Lodge, with its relaxed and warm atmosphere, is at the heart of the Hapuku Lodge experience.
We don’t define ourselves or create boundaries with regards to a style of cuisine or dining – we just do what we do, approaching each ingredient with the intent of celebrating its flavour and texture.
Join our Executive Chef, Fiona Read and her team as they prepare a true “ocean to plate, farm to table” experience using locally sourced ingredients.
