A wonderful chorus of birdsong is a feature in an otherwise quiet setting, which has been carefully planted to attract native birds. A native plant garden offers a short self-guided walk.

The comfortable cottage sleeps 4 in 2 bedrooms – a Queen bed in one and a double and a single bunk in the other bedroom. Breakfast is a generous continental self serve. Smoking outside please. Barry and Jennie can provide much information about New Zealand plants, birdlife, recreational opportunities, especially walks, and the natural history of the area.
